- Do Whatever You Need to Do to Heal. Start working to heal yourself as soon as you can. Do not wait for others to heal you. Follow your doctor’s suggestions regarding your specific surgical and medical treatment.
- Find out the Best Treatments that are Available. While you are having your treatment, continue your research and find out the best and newest treatment for your illness. The medical science is improving constantly, and you want to use the best that is available. Do not limit yourself to traditional medical treatment. If you can find another kind of treatment that is useful, go ahead and use it, be sure that it is scientific and proven, not superstitious. It is a good idea to share with your doctor.
- Be sure you get Proper Rest, Sleep, Food and Exercise. Your natural healing system is working 24 hours a day. You have about one hundred trillion cells in your body and it produces millions new cells every second. You need to provide your body and your immune system with the necessary nutrients.
- Think and Imagine as if you are already Healed. When we imagine things (images of healing), our visual cortex is stimulated as if you are really seeing something. These impulses from the cortex will be transported to the limbic system and to the body and affect your emotions and your body. Imagine the best outcome of your treatment.
- Stay Positive and Happy: Watch Happy, Funny, Healing Programs. When you watch something funny, it is easier to become happier and calmer. When you laugh, you heal faster. Avoid listening to and watching negative programs. Do not listen to bad news, instead fill up your mind with positivity.
- Stay at Peace, don’t be fearful. Instead be faithful. When you are sick, your body is already under stress and you don’t want to add more stress to it. The healing process will take place best in a relaxed mode. When you are at peace all the resources will be available to the part of the body that is healing instead of being involved in the fight or flight response.

Read about miracles and people who were healed. If you pray, when you are healing, pray all the time. Be grateful for the smallest improvement.
- Speak and act as if you are Healing or already Healed. Say, “I am healing.” Repeat this to yourself aloud or under your breath literally thousands of times a day. Breath, sit, stand and walk as if you have already been healed. Whoever asks you about your illness, say that you are getting better every day.
- Be Patient and Persist. The healing process takes time. Each part of the body repairs itself at a different speed. You really cannot change this rate significantly. It is based on nature and has its own speed.
